Meet Dr. Shayla Means-Williams

Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here.

For the past 20 years, I’ve had the joy of serving in children’s ministry. I’ve sat on carpets with wiggly preschoolers, led worship with wide eyed elementary kids, prayed with parents through tears, and equipped volunteers passionate about making a difference.

And through it all, one truth was hard to ignore:

Kids don’t just need to hear about Jesus, they need to learn how to follow Him.

But when I looked around, I saw a gap.
Most families and church leaders weren’t lacking desire, they were lacking effective tools.
They didn’t need another dense theology book or elaborate craft. They needed real tools for real life.

That realization is what gave birth to Seven Rooted Seeds.
